BLEA aims to serve as a transformative catalyst within our Houston community, offering innovative training and engagement opportunities for citizens, law enforcement personnel, and key stakeholders. Due to the nature of police-citizen relations, especially in Black and Brown communities, our organization believed in a genuine need. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the public and the criminal justice system through targeted education and training initiatives using our PLEIT certificate program- Positive Law Enforcement Interaction Training program.
