Since 2015, we have been building coalitions and serving vulnerable communities. We are engaged in advocating for policy reforms, abolishing predatory practices that disproportionately affect black communities, and applying innovative models for equitable resource allocation. Our work includes mutual aid, teach-ins, and community organizing efforts with the goal of building equitable communities.
Grassroots (using collective action from Black community to effect change at the local, regional, or national level)
Community-based (approach allows communities to have an active role and participate in highlighting and addressing the issues that matter to them)
